Cast your vote for the preferred verse for the 2021 IDAHOT vigils
Since 2007, prayer vigils for the overcoming of homophobia, transphobia and all types of discrimination have become an annual event. In many Italian cities and throughout the world, many Christians as well as Catholic and Evangelical communities come together for prayer in the days preceding or following the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on the 17th May to remember the victims and to say no more to all forms of discrimination.
This year, notwithstanding the pandemic, we will pray for our Christian communities to be “ever more welcoming and supportive sanctuaries for LGBT people and all those persons affected by discrimination”.
Therefore, we would like to ask for your help in choosing the biblical verse that will guide us through the several ecumenical vigils and moments of prayer that will take place this year on occasion of the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.
The most voted verse will guide us through the 2021 vigils to say no more to homophobic and transphobic violence.
Voting is open until midnight of 28 February 2021 by clicking on https://tinyurl.com/15ygfgtj . You can also vote from a mobile phone. Vote now and give voice to hope!
