May 2023, join the vigils and services for overcoming homophobia, biphobia and transphobia
Dear friends, at this moment, when it appears that our lives have been disrupted in so many ways, we should take pause to remember that despite our differences, we are all connected.
The vibrant hues of the rainbow flags remind us that we are all beautiful, diverse and deserving of respect.Although these times can be filled with uncertainty and fear, let us show strength in unity and stand together for those who suffer from homo-trans-bi-phobia.
Let us be united in love, acceptance and understanding for one another no matter what race or gender; so that we can come out of this situation stronger than how we entered it.
Let us join hands in solidarity and support of those who are facing oppression or marginalisation because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Let us open our hearts to the importance of vigils against homo-trans-bi-phobia – even if they may be held at a distance – to help create a world where everyone is free to express themselves without fear of harm or judgement.
Remember that together we are one family, and through kindness and compassion we can overcome any obstacle put before us as long as we stay true to ourselves and never give up hope.
Therefore we invite you to join us during the vigils and services for overcoming homophobia, biphobia and transphobia that will take place in May 2023.
Sincerely yours, Tenda di Gionata
