Verse Proposals for the 2024 Vigils Against Homotransbiphobia
You too can propose the verse that will unite prayer vigils and Sunday worship services for overcoming homotransphobia and all forms of discrimination, which will take place again this year on the occasion of May 17, 2024 (International Day Against Homotransphobia).
The submitted verses will be evaluated by a selected panel of experts. After careful analysis, fifteen verses will be chosen. These will then be subjected to an online public vote to determine the final verse for the 2024 vigils.
You will be informed via email about the start of this second voting phase, allowing you to actively participate in the final decision.
The collection of verses closes on December 27.

Since 2007, Christians of various denominations – Waldensians, Catholics, Old Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, and many others – have united in a common action to commemorate the victims of homophobia and homotransbiphobia. This year, our commitment continues with renewed vigor and solidarity. The 2024 vigils are a concrete expression of our faith, translating into action to break down the walls of silence and indifference in society and in churches. The 2024 vigils will include moments of prayer, reflection, and sharing.
Many Christians of different denominations (Waldensians, Catholics, Old Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, etc.), since 2007, have been holding vigils with groups of homosexual believers to remember the victims of homophobia and break the wall of silence in society and churches on this issue.
