In Madrid (Spain) from 21 to 25 August 2025 the 5th assembly of the global network of rainbow Catholics will take place (Global Network of Rainbow Catholics).
A unique opportunity for meeting and dialogue for an inclusive change in the Catholic Church
The 5th Assembly of the Global Catholic Network of Arcobaleno (GNRC) will be held in Madrid from 21 to 25 August 2025, offering an unmissable opportunity to strengthen community ties, face the challenges of our global network and promote inclusion in the Catholic Church.
The event, in English, includes plenary sessions, workshops, conferences, a guided tour of the city and an evening of international celebration, bringing together voices from all over the world in a significant dialogue.
Among the main speakers there will be:
Cristina Inogés, important theologian in Spain, known for his commitment to dialogue on inclusion in the Church.
Sr. Maria Luisa Berzosa, pastoral leader and supporter of social justice, appointed by Pope Francis among the consultants of the Synod of Bishops.
James Alison, internationally renowned theologian, engaged in reconciliation between the search for truth and faith.
Renato Lings, expert in biblical exegesis and issues related to gender and sexuality.
A Christian speaker LGBT+ Anonymous will offer his testimony from Africa, underlining the importance of safe spaces for dialogue.
Who is the assembly for? The event is open to activists, theologians, members of the community and anyone interested in supporting LGBTQ+Catholics.
Support bags: Those who need economic support can request a scholarship through the registration form. The selection will take place on the basis of the commitment with the GNRC and the criteria of diversity.
Subscribers: The participation fee is € 350 and includes accommodation, meals, all the program sessions, social events and associated local transport.
