4-8 September 2025 in Varese 24th European meeting on "Building the Church together"

From 4-8 September 2025 the 24th European meeting of SDA Kinship & Friends will take place on "Building the Church together (Building the Church Together) which will be held at Villa Cagnola, near Varese (Italy).
A meeting reserved for queer people to their agitated supporters and ex -aggregates in which we will talk about:
- What are the mechanisms of inclusion in society and in the Church;
- What are the ethical concepts that guide us;
- Like a community it can remain united despite the difficulties.
We want to face these questions in light of sociology, psychology, ethics and theology, to return home with new ideas on how to live and work together, building safe spaces and churches where there are love, freedom, welcome and justice for all.

The event is organized by Sevenh-Day Adventist Kinship International, an organization that offers a safe spiritual and social community for current and former agi-day agiists who identify themselves as lesbians, gay, bisexuals, transgender, asexual and/or intersex (LGBTIA+), as well as for their families and supporters. Founded in 1976, Kinship is committed to promoting welcome, respect and justice for all people inside and outside the churches.

• the mechanisms of incidentness in society and in the church
• what are the ethical concepts that guide us?
• how Can a Community Become United in Spite of Difficulties?
Approaching These Questions We Want to Find Answers in Sociology, Psychology, Ethics and Theology.
Our Goal is to go home with new ideas on how to live and work together for safe places and churches with love, liberty, acceptance and justice for all.
