Blue princesses: tales of love and life of women between women
Review by Cinzia di Noemforum of January 19, 2011
I had fun reading the last release of blue princesses, the collections of lesbian tales edited by Delia Vaccarello For the Oscar Mondadori, the last series entitled 'Blue Princesses to watch'.
It had been, perhaps for years, that I had not explicitly lesbian literature for years and I must admit that, after long years of distrust, dictated as well as by a false sense of what is good and what is bad, also by the fact that I have never crossed beautiful writing that was not also sad writing.
I am truly tired of tragic representations of female homosexuality, as I am nauseated by so much alleged writing or film art that represents a lesbian world whore and obsessively linked to the binomial sex & bad luck.
So much to get to ask me if, to delight the simple girls like me, who overcome the 40 still believe in love, the beautiful one that knows of happy, it was not appropriate to start writing myself something more adherent to the relics of many like me.
So, perhaps only out of curiosity and without many expectations, I took this booklet in my hand and in two evenings I devoured it, ready but to find even the previous ones, the various blue princesses 1, 2, 3 that succeeded within not many years.
The stories are varied, of various tone, style, thickness, some beautiful, others less, some dramatic, others smiling, certainly you breathe a new air. Windows in the sun opened that they first thought they were barred, walled up.
The love of two women is no longer only fierce, dramatic, fragile passion, but more often possible project, challenge for our true, better, better future; Eroticism is beauty, communication, a tool of exceptional efficacy to find out if and the other and, because no, leverage to redirect themselves towards better and more authentic life paths.
Thus by savoring the taste of life lived between the lines, we spend an evening with the women of the ARCilesbica who celebrate the ten -year, you live a fast adventure, capable, however, of awakening the dormant truth of our being, are traveling as in a dream millennia of history who bring any girl today to face with Serena Positivita 'her life of homosexual, she traces the drama of her mother with her mother. Finding the adult force to interrupt the chain that still binds us to his non -love, ...
Leafing through the pages with moderate rapidity, I realize that it is one in the morning, now to sleep.
I send a kiss via SMS to Vivi (editor's note my partner), imagining his figure enveloped in the duvet, and I turn off the light, certain of which we will never be sunny, that we are a force, that our Kairos has come and we must do our part, just starting from love.
