"But not even a hair of your boss will be lost" (Luke 21: 12-19)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
Giving one's testimony does not mean making preparation courses or theological studies, but living the relationship with God as a branch custody, with perseverance and with joy.
From the Gospel according to Luca 21: 12-19
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
«They will get their hands on you and they will pursue you, delivering you to synagogues and prisons, dragging you in front of kings and governors, because of my name. You will then have the opportunity to testify.
So put yourself in mind not to prepare your defense first; I will give you a word and wisdom, so that all your opponents will not be able to resist or counter.
You will even be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and will kill some of you; You will be hated by everyone because of my name. But not even a hair of your boss will be lost.
With your perseverance you will save your life ».
