Get up and go… Our pilgrimage to be faithful despite everything

Testimony of Saverio onPilgrimage of Christians LGBT+ "Get up and go! Along the path of Celestino V"(Abruzzo 3-11 August 2024)

Get up and go ... everyone will apply it in their own way during the future life. I am among the "lucky ones" who have been able to share (and sorry if it is little), only the final part of the pilgrimage on foot of the Christians LGBT+ 2024, from Friday to Sunday.

I focus on the relic of the Eucharistic miracle of Lanciano and I think that we too are a part of the open side of the Lord, in the continuous search for an original fertility, different from that of our mothers and our fathers.

But also different from that of consecrated and monks, in the construction of a life project never imagined elsewhere and different from that proposed by the Mother Church in our catechisms.

A new project based on the suffering of being able to be faithful despite everything.

I focus on the final moment, the passage of the witness, the long but very short celebration, the incredible self -consopted homily made of sincere and personal prayers, the acts of faith of those who recognized and believed to the love that God has for him and that yes He is felt loved by brothers so much that he shared very personal things.

I focus on every face and I say thanks to everyone, to those I knew, to those who met and those who have not been the physical time to know. Thank you.
