"A good, pressing, full and overflowing measure ..." (Luke 6: 36-38)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
It can be measured to stay in place, but you can also adopt a good measure, which is not the one that arrives "at the right level", but it is overflowing, filled, pressing, and is kept in the womb as Mary holds Jesus.
From the Gospel according to Luca 6: 36-38
At that time, Jesus told his disciples:
«Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.
Do not judge and you will not be judged; Do not condemn and you will not be sentenced; Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give yourself and will be given to you: a good, pressing, full and overflowing measure will be paid to you in the womb, because with the measurement with which you measure, it will be measured to you in return ".
