We interviewed Don Don Gianluca Carrega, priest of the archdiocese of Turin, director of the office for the pastoral care of culture and in charge of his archbishop to follow the pastoral with LGBT+for over ten years, to tell us his path and his reflection on how the Catholic Church can Becoming a space of welcome and inclusion, without losing its identity but opening up to dialogue and change.
We asked him: "What is the role of the Catholic Church today in the face of the requests for welcome and inclusion of LGBT+ believers? What does the history of St. Francis of Assisi teaches us on this theme? Can the Church be a reality that not only teaches, but that is also willing to listen and change?
