The call for acceptance of Roman 15:7 will unite all the vigils and the services against Homophobia 2014
Accept one another just as Christ accepted you (Romans, 15:7, NIV). This will be the official biblical verse for the prayer vigils and the religious services for the 2014 International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia-IDAHOT. The verse has been the most appreciated in an international survey of opinion enhanced by Progetto Gionata (Italy) and by Kaleidoscope (Hungary).
Accept one another just as Christ accepted you will give voice to our hope to break any attempt of discrimination, hate and isolation based on the sexual orientation. Our Lord Jesus Christ loves and accepts unconditionally each person, man, woman, or transgender.
The countdown to IDAHOT 2014 has started. Civil and religious communities, parishes, groups, churches of every denomination, and all the Forum Christian LGBT groups are invited to rejoice together in commemorating IDAHOT with a collective global time of prayers, sharing, and testimonies of our vocation to live our lives in the footsteps of Jesus’s Love.
Progetto Gionata will soon publish a toolkit of suggested readings, gestures, and prayers for IDAHOT. Please, keep following us on http://inveglia.wordpress.com/
