VOTING HAS ENDED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR VALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS!
Vote for the verse that will unite the prayer vigils and Sunday services for overcoming homotransphobia and all forms of discrimination that will take place, also this year, on the occasion of May 17, 2024 (International Day Against Homotransphobia). The verses you will read have been chosen and evaluated by a panel of experts, but to determine the final verse for the 2024 vigils, we need you! The voting ends 7 days after the start, and you will be informed via email about the outcome of the vote. Good choice!

Since 2007, Christians of different denominations – Waldensian, Catholic, Old Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, and many others – have united in a common action to commemorate the victims of homophobia and homotransbiphobia. This year, our commitment continues with renewed vigor and solidarity. The 2024 vigils are a concrete expression of our faith, which translates into action to break the wall of silence and indifference in society and in the churches. The 2024 vigils will include moments of prayer, reflection, and sharing. For more details on the program of the vigils and Sunday services, please visit our website inveglia.wordpress.com.
Many Christians of different denominations (Waldensian, Catholic, Old Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, etc.), since 2007, have been vigil with groups of homosexual believers to remember the victims of homophobia and to break the wall of silence that exists in society and churches on this topic. Sharing Stories and Data
The “Chronicles of Ordinary Homotransbiphobia” project collects data and personal stories to help understand what homotransphobia is and how its violence affects Italy. This project aims to give a voice to those who have been victims of this discrimination and its violence. If you wish to share your story or relevant data, write to gionatanews@gmail.com.
